SikhNet Gurbani Media Center is a free multimedia iPhone application that provides access to over 35,000 Gurbani audio tracks from over 1000 artists. It is a must-have app for anyone who enjoys Gurbani. The app is supported by Avtar Singh Dhamija of Akal Engineers and Consultants Ltd, Canada, who generously helped SikhNet reach as many people as possible.
The app features Gurbani lyrics, which display the Gurbani text of the shabad currently playing. You can also display English translation, Spanish translation, or transliteration, depending on your preference. The app also features 28+ channels of Gurbani Radio from SikhNet and live Gurdwaras around the world. You can filter Gurdwara channels to only show "Live Now" or add to favorites. You can create your own playlists, edit them, and remove tracks, or choose from a selection of pre-set playlists (nitnem, sleep music, simran, etc.). The app allows you to browse by artist or shabads and supports Apple Airplay so you can stream the audio to any Airplay speaker or device wirelessly.
